The Institute of Education, University of London convened a major policy forum in New York City to discuss education reform – and what the UK and USA can learn from each other. The forum was hosted by Teachers College, Columbia University on 8 November 2010.
Panellists included, seated from left to right, Professor Andy Hargreaves of Boston College; Rona Kiley, founder of Teach First in the UK; Professor Geoff Whitty, Director of the IOE; Timothy Daly, President of The New Teacher Project; Professor Susan Fuhrman, President of Teachers College; Richard Colvin, Director of the Hechinger Institute at Columbia University and former education journalist at the Los Angeles Times.
